Refund Policy
This policy applies to the automated assessments: Planning & Buildability Assessment (€29), Full Development Assessment (€49 — launch price €39 while the launch offer applies, standard price €49) and the Financial Feasibility add-on (€29). These purchases are considered completed once the assessment has been generated and made available to you, because the service is delivered immediately at your express request.
Professional Review
Professional Review is a separate case-specific professional service and is not covered by the immediate-delivery rules above. Submitting a request costs nothing and creates no payment obligation: the proposed scope and fee are confirmed with you first, and a request can be withdrawn at no cost before you accept them. Once a scope is accepted, cancellation and any amount payable follow the terms confirmed with you in writing for that engagement.
Refunds are not available for
Because the assessment is delivered immediately and is based on the information you provide, refunds are not available for:
- changes of mind;
- incorrect or incomplete information entered by the user;
- disagreement with the assessment result;
- a decision not to proceed with the property.
A refund may be considered where
- the customer was charged more than once;
- a technical error prevented the assessment from being delivered;
- the service was not provided as described.
How to request a refund
Customers who believe they are entitled to a refund should contact support and provide their assessment reference (for example PFC-00124) and payment details. We review requests within 48 hours and, where a refund is due, ask our payment provider to return the amount to the original payment method. Because the provider takes the payment as merchant of record, it carries out the refund; you can also contact it directly about the transaction, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. Support: hello@portugalpropertycheck.com.
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
